Alcomet supplies high-quality Earth Bars (aka Bridling Bars) for low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical installations. Also known as copper earth bars, these components provide a secure common earthing point for electrical systems, ensuring reliable fault current dissipation and compliance with industry standards.

Manufactured from 50 mm x 6 mm hard drawn copper bar, our Earth Bars are designed for long service life in demanding electrical environments, including substations, feeder pillars, switchgear, cable pits and industrial installations.

Available in configurations from 2-way to 10-way, our Bridling Bars can be supplied with or without single or twin disconnecting links, providing flexibility for inspection, testing and maintenance.

The lightweight polymer channel construction reduces overall weight compared with traditional designs, making installation and handling easier without compromising strength or performance.
